Player of the Week: Cooper Kriegmont

Cooper Kriegmont is the Juneau Empire’s player of the week.

Kriegmont, a sophomore at Juneau-Douglas High School, ran for 95 yards and threw one touchdown pass in Juneau United’s 22-7 loss to Chugiak on Friday at Adair-Kennedy Memorial Park.

Juneau United (0-6) has just two games left in their inaugural season. The unified team returns to the Thunder Mountain High School gridiron for a senior night bout against No. 2 Colony (5-1) on Friday at 7 p.m. Juneau United plays against No. 4 Bartlett (5-1) the following weekend in Anchorage.
