Assault

• At 12:11 p.m. Wednesday, Richard Clayton, 30, was cited and released for assault in the 1800 block of Northwood Drive.

• At 7:05 p.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department assisted Capital City Fire/Rescue with a reported assault. The incident was unfounded.

Assist

• At 9:12 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to an assist call in the 3400 block of Glacier Highway, and a 54-year-old woman was taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital for an involuntary mental evaluation.

Child abuse

• At 1:57 p.m. Wednesday, confidential investigation into a report of child abuse in the Juneau area.

Criminal trespass

• At 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, George Nelson III, 50, was cited and released for criminal trespass in the 8800 block of Glacier Highway.

Domestic violence

• At 10:58 a.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated a report of a domestic violence protective order violation.

• At 10:52 a.m. Thursday, a 37-year-old woman was arrested for violating a domestic violence protective order. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Forgery

• At 4:22 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received information regarding an out-of-state forgery.

Larcency

• At 6:03 p.m. Wednesday, Michael Butler, 19, was cited and released for larceny from Foodland IGA in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 4:08 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a motor vehicle crash at the Egan Drive and Glacier Highway intersection near McDonald’s. The driver at fault, Harold J. Lancaster, was cited for careless driving.

Theft

• At 12:10 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a stolen firearm in the 8400 block of Old Dairy Road. Investigation continues.
