Assault

• At 11:25 a.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department investigated a reported assault in the 200 block of Franklin Street. Alcohol was involved.

Criminal trespass

• At 4:11 p.m. Tuesday, Rainon Knowles, 20, was arrested for criminal trespass and for violating conditions of his release in the 200 block of Franklin Street.

Fire and medical

• On Thursday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to seven EMS calls around town throughout the day.

Theft

• At 12:32 p.m. Tuesday, JPD investigated a reported shoplifting from a business downtown in the 200 block of Front Street.

• At 2:14 p.m. Tuesday, a 34-year-old man reported a theft in the 1400 block of Harbor Way. Information only.

• At 2:49 p.m. Tuesday, someone reported a shop vac was stolen from a garage in the 16000 block of Point Lena Way.

• At 8:19 a.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated a reported theft in the 1400 block of Harbor Way.

• At 10:37 a.m. Wednesday, a 57-year-old man reported that $100 worth of gas was siphoned from his vehicle sometime in the past four days in the 200 block of Marine Way.

Vehicle rifling

• At 7:57 a.m. Wednesday, JPD investigated a vehicle rifling in the 200 block of Troy Avenue that resulted in $850 of property loss.

• At 9:06 a.m. Wednesday, a 42-year-old man reported his unlocked vehicle was rifled the night prior in the 1700 block of Evergreen Avenue. A wheel nut key was stolen from the glove box.
