Assault

• At 1:51 p.m. on Monday, a 67-year-old woman reported being assaulted by a 59-year-old man.

Criminal mischief

• At 10:42 p.m. on Monday, a 30-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence- criminal mischief and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Disabled vehicle

• At 4:51 a.m. on Monday, a 48-year-old man reported a grey pickup in a ditch on Basin Road, which was found later to be taken care of.

Death

• At 3:35 p.m. on Monday, JPD investigated the death of a 66-year-old woman on the 5000 block of Douglas Highway. The death is not considered suspicious and the next of kin have been notified.

Warrant arrest

• At 12:30 p.m. on Monday, 32-year-old James Nicholas Cook was arrested on an Alaska State Troopers warrant for violating conditions of probation and misconduct involving a controlled substance on the 9200 block of Glacier Highway and taken to LCCC.
