Police calls for Friday, Aug. 12, 2016

Assault

• At 6:33 p.m. Monday, Alaska State Troopers received a report that a 42-year-old inmate punched a 46-year-old inmate at Lemon Creek Correctional Center. The 46-year-old inmate was treated for an injury to his jaw. Investigation continues.

Criminal mischief

• At 2:39 p.m. Tuesday, the Juneau Police Department arrested Kurtis Detemple, 23, for criminal mischief in the 200 block of Franklin Street after breaking a business’ window.

Domestic violence

• At 1:02 p.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested a 36-year-old man for domestic violence assault in the Juneau area.

• At 5:59 p.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested a 27-year-old man for violating a domestic violence order. He was taken to LCCC.

Liquor violation

• At 9:48 a.m. Wednesday, JPD created a case for a liquor violation in the 100 block of Marine Way

Shoplifting

• At 7:25 p.m. Tuesday, a Foodland employee reported shoplifting in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.

Theft

• At 9:52 p.m. Tuesday, a 69-year-old man reported his wallet was stolen in the Juneau area.

• At 11:55 a.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of theft of money on Village Street. Investigation continues.

Warrant served

• At 6:33 p.m. Tuesday, JPD arrested a 17-year-old boy for failing to appear at a hearing in Anchorage. He was taken to the Johnson Youth Center.
