Thank Yous for Sept. 23, 2018

• Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska would like to thank the City and Borough of Juneau for funding through the Youth Activities Grant.

This funding from the citizens of the City and Borough of Juneau through sales tax revenues has created wonderful opportunities for the youth of Juneau to participate in new and exciting activities that create memories and relationship bonding through shared experiences.

Over the summer, our Bigs and Littles participated in a whale watching tour, rafted down the Mendenhall River, went on a dogsled tour and learned about the Iditarod, and experienced the Gold Creek Salmon Bake. We are also grateful for the generosity of Allen Marine, Alaska Travel Adventures, and Gold Rush Dog Tours, operated by Temsco Helicopters. Each of these businesses graciously donated additional funding to cover the cost of our participants on the tours.

Thank you so much for your investment in the youth of Juneau!

With gratitude,

Cameron Young

• To the Filipino Community Board of Directors, members, guests and volunteers:

We are humbled by your magnanimous support of the dinner fundraising at the Filipino Community Hall on Saturday, Sept. 15. It was an incredible show of support in our time of need.

Sincerely,

Rafael and Gladys Castanos,

Juneau
