Opinion: Trump exposes own ‘fake faith’

Judge not, that you be not judged.

President Donald Trump expresses great concern about corruption in Ukraine, yet sees no corruption in selecting his hotel Trump National Doral Miami for the G-7 conference. After this was too much for even some Republicans to swallow, he reversed his decision but still sees no conflict in promoting and repeatedly using his resorts for his and other officials’ travel. This travel uses our tax dollars to line his pockets, the epitome of corruption. He, the great exposer of “fake news,” has once more exposed his fake faith.

In Matthew 7, verses 1-5, the Bible says, “Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when there is the log in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye.”
