Opinion: New dock could be gold mine

It’s a stroke of genius.

Norwegian Cruise Lines just purchased three acres in the middle of the new Seawalk and close to the new whale sculpture. Its new dock will be across the street from the new JACC and the new Alaska State Museum. It’s close to the capital and everything else downtown. It’s a stroke of genius on their part and a gold mine of tourist dollars coming into Juneau. I hope it’s all good for Juneau and keeps our beautiful hiking trails pristine.
