Jingle Jog this Saturday

The 5-kilometer and 1-mile Jingle Jog is this Saturday, Dec. 16, at 10 a.m.

Registration starts at 9 a.m. at Floyd Dryden Middle School and entry fee is by donation (suggested $20).

Jingle bells, candy cane medals, post-run snacks and hot beverages will be provided. All proceeds go to Girls on the Run programs in Juneau to cover program registration fees as needed. All girls are encouraged to walk or run in the event. AWARE is offering race scholarships to anyone who requests one.

Running shoes for girls will also be on hand for those in need of them.
