Letter: Sen. Murkowski’s values

How very special U.S. Sen. Lisa Murkowski is to shop for new office space and to acquire the office space of the late Sen. Ted Stevens. But I wonder why Murkowski continues belonging to the Republican Party, because the Republican Party does not support an Equal Rights Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, giving equality to women. I heard of no report that Murkowski participated in the Women’s March. I guess Murkowski did not march because the Republican party values power more than American values of equality, justice and freedom as evidenced by the president.
