Rodney Jay Franzen passed away on Nov. 1, 2015. He was 60 years old.
He attended schools in Juneau and later joined the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Genevie Franzen; brothers, Gary Franzen and Dennis Franzen.
He was preceeded in death by his parents, Richard and Betty Franzen; brothers, Norman Franzen and Micheal Joseph.
A memorial was held on Nov. 6 at 11 a.m. at the Jesus Mission in Torreon, New Mexico.
