Navigating different options for medical care can be puzzling, so Premera Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alaska is hosting a public town hall meeting Wednesday, June 1 from 5-7 p.m. at Centennial Hall. The meeting is free and open to anyone who has questions about how health insurance works and how to get the most out of their health plan.
At the end of the event, participants should have a clearer understanding of commonly used insurance terms, options for seeking care in remote areas and cost savings advantages of choosing doctors and clinics in their health plan network.
Participants will be entered in a drawing for a Fitbit fitness tracker.
