Death

• At 1:39 p.m. Saturday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the unattended death of a 32-year-old man in the 2700 block of Rogue Street. Foul play was not suspected, and the body was sent to Anchorage for an autopsy.

Disorderly conduct

• At 8:40 p.m. Saturday, JPD cited Christopher Davidson in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway for disorderly conduct.

Domestic violence

• At 10:05 p.m. Saturday, a 23-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence assault in the Juneau area. Alcohol was involved. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held without bail.

• At 11:37 p.m., JPD responded to a report of a domestic violence assault by a woman in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Failure to submit commercial dive log

• On Jan. 26, Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Craig cited Daniel Bakker, 53, of Washington for failing to submit his state geoduck dive log within seven days of participating in a commercial fishery.

Fatal vehicle accident

• At 5:39 p.m. Sunday, Angoon EMS responded to a vehicle down a steep embankment with injury to the driver and one occupant, with a third occupant dead. A 72-year-old Juneau resident was driving and lost control, landing in the ditch. One passenger was injured and one was pronounced deceased at Bartlett Regional Hospital.

Fire and medical

• On Monday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to seven EMS calls and one medical transport in the area throughout the day.

• At 3:17 a.m. Monday, firefighters were dispatched to an open burn on Nugget Place, found a fire in an open barrel and extinguished it.

• At 9:01 a.m. Monday, firefighters were dispatched to a vehicle crash with injuries on Riverside Drive for emergency medical services; a woman was provided advanced life support and taken to the hospital.

• At 9:43 p.m. Monday, firefighters were dispatched for an active fire alarm on Willoughby Street that had been triggered by burnt food.

Theft

• At 1:21 p.m. Saturday, JPD cited Eric Rivera, 23, for larceny in the 300 block of Whittier Street.

• At 3:08 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the theft of a blue Schwinn bicycle, with an estimated value of $250, from the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 4:26 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a report from a 30-year-old woman in the 1600 block of Douglas Highway regarding the theft of $15 from her residence.

• At 5 p.m. Saturday, JPD received a report from a 59-year-old woman in the 100 block of Fifth Street that motion lights had been stolen from her residence.

• At 11:19 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a theft report in the 100 block of Franklin Street. Investigation continues.

• At 3:27 a.m. Sunday, JPD cited Ben Lopez, 33, for theft of services in the 8900 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.

Trespassing

• At 1:26 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Lena Jimmie, 55, and Rodney Jackson, 47, for criminal trespass on Egan Drive.

• At 11:52 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested Rodney Kilts, 29, for disorderly conduct and resisting or interfering with the duties of a police officer.

Vehicle rifling

• At 1:02 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a report from a 32-year-old woman in the 200 block of Gastineau Avenue that her vehicle was rifled through.
