Assault

• At 1:53 p.m. Sunday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report by a 19-year-old man in the 200 block of Franklin Street that he had been assaulted by a 20-year-old man; investigation continues.

Burglary

• At 12:36 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report of a burglary in the 300 block of Village Street; investigation continues.

• At 11:14 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report of an attempted burglary in the 400 block of Franklin Street; investigation continues.

Child abuse

• At 9:31 p.m., JPD received a report of child abuse in the Juneau area; investigation continues.

Fire and medical

• On Friday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to 10 EMS calls and three medical transports in the area throughout the day. At 7:57 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a vehicle accident on Glacier Highway; they provided a person with advanced life support and took the patient to Bartlett Regional Hospital. At 8:42 p.m., they were dispatched to a burn complaint on Columbia Boulevard, but were unable to locate any smoke.

• On Saturday, CCFR responded to 11 EMS calls and two medical transports. At 1:30 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a non-injury accident on Egan and Riverwood drives.

• On Sunday, CCFR responded to 11 EMS calls and one medical transport. At 7:48 p.m., firefighters were dispatched to a burn complaint on Melrose Street and located a contained bonfire.

Harassment

• At 11:18 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report by a 40-year-old woman in the 400 block of Gold Street regarding ongoing harassment.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 7:40 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a single-vehicle crash in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue; investigation continues.

Shoplifting

• At 6:42 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report of shoplifting in the 5200 block of Glacier Highway; investigation continues.

Theft

• At 3 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a report of the theft of a Mercury inflatable skiff from a residence in the 9000 block of Long Run Drive; investigation continues.

• At 10:30 p.m. Sunday, JPD received a report by a 49-year-old woman on Egan Drive regarding the theft of a purse worth approximately $35.

• At 8:38 a.m. Monday, JPD received a report by a 43-year-old man in the 6200 block of Alaway Avenue that he found a Stihl chainsaw; it was determined to have been stolen from a business and was returned.

Trespassing

• At 12:19 p.m. Sunday, JPD arrested David Ripley, 46, for criminal trespass in the 8500 block of Nugget Place; he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
