Burglary

• At 8:32 p.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department responded to a report of burglary on the 5900 block of Churchill Way. The investigation continues.

• At 11:28 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a report of burglary on the 1700 block of Anka Street. The investigation continues.

• At 8:22 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a report of burglary on the 9200 block of Cinema Drive. The investigation continues.

Disturbance

• At 2:14 a.m. Sunday, 21-year-old Tuamelie Toutai and 27-year-old Mutimutivale Mamea were cited and released for disorderly conduct on the 200 block of Front Street.

• At 2:14 a.m. Sunday, 22-year-old Aloalii C. Mareko was arrested for disorderly conduct on the 200 block of Front Street. He was transported to Lemon Creek Correctional Center where he was lodged and released on his own recognizance.

Domestic dispute

• At 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested a man in connection with a domestic violence assault from two days prior. He was held without bail on the new charge.

Driving while intoxicated

• At 3:21 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested 39-year-old Jason Allen for driving while intoxicated on the 1500 block of Third Street. He was transported to and lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Driving under the influence

• At 10:02 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested 26-year-old Amy Newton for driving while under the influence.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 10:57 a.m. Thursday, a 73-year-old male reported that an unknown vehicle struck his 1998 Chevy truck sometime in August, resulting in approximately $9,000 in damage.

Shoplifting

• At 2:50 p.m. Sunday, JPD cited and released 35-year-old Jennifer Montoya for shoplifting $67 worth of merchandise from Costco.

Suspicious activity

• At 8:58 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested 34-year-old Vanessa Anderson on four warrants and further charged with false report to law enforcement. She was lodged at LCCC on $200 bail.

• At 12:50 a.m. Friday, 28-year-old Carl William Soper was remanded to custody. He was transported to and lodged at LCCC.

Theft

• At 9:14 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of a theft in the Juneau area. The investigation continues.

• At 2:16 p.m. Thursday, a 37-year-old male reported the theft of a clear one-layer tackle box with various items inside. The items were later located.

• At 7:53 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to a report of the theft of a mountain bike in the 2000 block of Douglas Highway. The investigation continues.

• At 7:52 a.m. Saturday, an 80-year-old female reported the theft of a 4-foot potted tree from her residence.

• At 12:41 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a reported theft on the 3300 block of Tongass Boulevard. The investigation continues.

• At 4:16 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a reported theft on the 2300 block of Jordan Avenue. The investigation continues.

• At 8:55 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a reported theft of a cell phone on Marine Way. The investigation continues.

Trespassing

• At 10:02 a.m. Thursday, a 30-year-old male reported two individuals trespassing on property after they were served criminal trespass letters.

Vandalism

• At 9:23 p.m. Wednesday, a 59-year-old female reported that the brake line on her vehicle had been cut sometime in the past three days.

Vehicle rifling

• At 6:01 Friday, JPD responded to a vehicle rifling on the 300 block of Gastineau Avenue. The investigation continues.

• At 5:52 a.m. Monday, a 33-year-old male reported that his locked vehicle was rifled through and a bag was stolen in the Juneau area.
