Police & Fire for Thursday, Oct. 27, 2016

Burglary

• At 9:12 p.m. Monday, a 26-year-old intoxicated woman entered another person’s residence without permission in the 400 block of 12th Street. The victim declined to pursue criminal charges.

Conditions violation

• At 2:24 p.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department investigated a report of a domestic violence protective order violation. Alcohol was involved.

Criminal mischief

• At 10:02 p.m. Monday, Joshua Lea, 36, was arrested for criminal mischief in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive after allegedly damaging the property of a medical facility valued at about $100. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. Alcohol was involved.

Criminal trespass

• At 4:49 p.m. Monday, Alan Lee was arrested for criminal trespass in the 11100 block of Glacier Highway and was taken to LCCC.

Fire and medical

• On Tuesday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to 10 EMS calls around town throughout the day, two medical transport calls, a report of a transformer fire on 6th Street but no fire was found, and a call to Montgomery Street that was canceled en route.

Theft

• At 7:22 p.m. Monday, JPD received a report of theft at a business in the 5200 block of Commercial Boulevard.

Traffic complaint

• At 1:21 a.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of the misuse of plates on a vehicle in the 1700 block of Douglas Highway. Unable to locate.

Vehicle rifling

• At 1:58 p.m. Monday, JPD investigated a vehicle rifling in the 300 block of Gastineau Avenue that resulted in approximately $125 worth of stolen property.

• At 11:40 a.m. Tuesday, JPD received a report of a vehicle rifling and theft in the 300 block of Franklin Street.
