Assault
• At 7:38 a.m. Tuesday, Juneau Police Department received a report of an assault in the 200 block of Franklin Street; investigation continues.
•At 9:17 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a reported assault in the 2200 block of Crow Hill Drive; investigation continues.
Fire and medical
• On Monday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to eight EMS calls and two medical transports in the area throughout the day. At 6:08 p.m., firefighters returned to a residence on Douglas Highway after transporting a patient, to turn off his stove.
Found weapon
• At 7:29 p.m. Monday, JPD recovered a found machete in the 100 block of Franklin Street.
Shoplifting
• At 4:40 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a shoplifting report in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway and arrested Rooney Hasselquist, 34, for larceny.
Theft
• At 4:14 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to a theft report in the 2000 block of Glacier Highway.
• At 9:41 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to a report of a theft in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.
