Police & Fire for Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016

Burglary

• At 4:02 p.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department investigated a burglary at a business in the 1200 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 9:40 a.m. Friday, JPD received a report of a burglary in the 1900 block of Lemon Creek Road. Property loss is valued at $2,000.

Criminal trespass

• At 2:30 p.m. Thursday, Danielle Roher, 26, was arrested for criminal trespass in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway. She was also cited for failure to carry and show proof of insurance.

• At 8:50 a.m. Friday, Michael Swanson was arrested for criminal trespass and criminal mischief in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

Death

• At 8:31 p.m. Thursday, JPD investigated the death of 78-year-old Bruce Wing. No foul play suspected. Next of kin was notified.

Harassment

• At 8:06 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of harassment. Information only.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 9:05 a.m. Friday, a 22-year-old man reported his vehicle was damaged in a hit-and-run in the 3300 block of Nowell Avenue.

Shoplift

• At 3:40 p.m. Thursday, Brady Petersen, 27, was cited and released for larceny in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway.

Suspicious activity

• At 11:47 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report of suspicious activity in the 1600 block of Beach Drive.

Theft

• At 8:21 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported the theft of a licence plate from a vehicle in the Juneau area.

• At 10:23 a.m. Friday, JPD investigated a reported shoplifting of alcohol in the 600 block of Willoughby Avenue.

• At 10:51 a.m. Friday, JPD investigated a reported shoplifting of alcohol in the 400 block of Whittier Street.
