Death

• At 3:40 p.m. Wednesday, Juneau Police Department investigated a death in the 9100 block of Cinema Drive that appears to be due to natural causes; investigation continues.

Fire and medical

• On Thursday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to nine EMS calls and three medical transports throughout the day.

Theft

• At 12:02 p.m. Wednesday, a 60-year-old woman reported the theft of a package from the doorstep of her residence in the 1900 block of Wickersham Avenue.

• At 10:08 a.m. Thursday, JPD arrested 40-year-old Timothy Ebona for shoplifting from a store in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road. Ebona was cited and released.

• At 12:42 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report from a business in the 300 block of Franklin Street that six tubs of ice cream were stolen.

• At 9:52 a.m. Friday, JPD received a report of the theft of a utility trailer in the 5900 block of Churchill Way. The trailer was later located.

• At 10:20 a.m. Friday, JPD received a report of the theft of a Honda generator valued at $1500 from a boat in Don D. Statter Harbor in Auke Bay; investigation continues.

Vehicle rifling

• At 10:23 a.m. Thursday, a 35-year-old male reported his 1966 Volkswagon was rifled through and keys and a garage door opener were taken.
