Police calls for Wednesday, May 30, 2018

Domestic violence

• At midnight Monday, the Juneau Police Department arrested a 24-year-old woman in the Juneau area for assault domestic violence. Alcohol was a factor. The woman was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Drunken driving

• At 6:37 a.m. Monday, JPD arrested Caysha M. Fleischman, 24, in the 38000 block of Glacier Highway for driving while intoxicated.

Intoxicated driving

• At 12:11 a.m. Monday, JPD arrested Timothy Sawyer, 23, in the 5200 block of Douglas Highway for driving while intoxicated. Alcohol was not identified as a factor. The vehicle Sawyer was driving was impounded.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 7:25 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the downtown area where a woman, 47, had been hit by a car while crossing a crosswalk. The woman sustained minor injuries.

Trespassing

• At 12:35 p.m. Sunday, JPD cited and released Thomas Berner, 63, in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive for criminal trespass at Bartlett Regional Hospital.

• At 6:30 p.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Thomas Berner, 63, in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive for criminal trespass. Berner was taken to LCCC.

• At 5:58 a.m. Monday, JPD arrested Thomas Berner, 63, in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive for criminal trespass. Berner was taken to LCCC.
