Attempt to Serve

At 8:39 a.m. on Wednesday, 38-year-old Matthew Richey was arrested on Jordan Avenue on a $1,500 warrant for a petition to revoke probation on an original charge of burglary. He was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Death Investigation

At 4:13 p.m. on Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department began an investigation into the death of a 64-year-old male. Next of kin have been notified and the circumstances do not appear to be suspicious.

Disturbance

At 2:41 p.m. on Wednesday, 47-year-old Theodore Lauth was arrested on Riverside Drive for trespassing and violating conditions of release.

At 9:46 p.m. on Wednesday, 49-year-old Harry Hewson was arrested on Willoughby Avenue on a $100 Alaska State Troopers warrant from Ketchikan for failure to appear on an original charge of concealing merchandise. He was taken to LCCC.

Domestic Dispute

At 10:53 a.m. on Wednesday, JPD responded to a report of a physical altercation between a 17-year-old male and a 50-year-old male on Nowell Avenue.

Motor Vehicle Collision With Injury

At 1:03 p.m. on Wednesday, a 46-year-old male was cited for failure to yield when turning left after the Chevy he was driving struck a Honda on Old Dairy Road.
