Police calls for Tuesday, July 30, 2019

Assault

• At 5:41 p.m. Saturday, Juneau Police Department responded to a call on 12th Street where a 62-year-old man reported being assaulted by a 20-year-old man.

Car crash

• At 1:56 p.m. Saturday, JPD cited a 28-year-old man on the 8100 block of Egan Drive for failure exercise due care while driving. The man’s 2005 Dodge pickup struck a 1999 Jeep Cherokee driven by a 21-year-old man.

• At 3:08 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a call on the 5400 block of Egan Drive where a vehicle driven by a 31-year-old man struck a vehicle driven by a 44-year-old man.

Domestic dispute

• At 1 p.m. Saturday, JPD arrested a 39-year-old man for assault and driving while intoxicated in the Juneau area. He was taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 7:23 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a call in the Juneau area. It was reported that during a fight, a 24-year-old man broke a door valued at $300.

Shoplifting

• At 7:37 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a call on the 100 block of Franklin Street where a 46-year-old woman reported a theft.

Trespassing

• At 6:01 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to a call on the 700 block of Franklin Street where a 64-year-old man reported a 36-year-old woman for trespassing.
