Police calls for Thursday, Feb. 28, 2019

Assault

• At 2:50 a.m. Thursday, a 44-year-old woman reported to Juneau Police Department she was assaulted by a 46-year-old man.

Child abuse

• At 2:04 p.m. Wednesday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into possible child abuse in the Juneau area.

Drug activity

• At 3:48 p.m. Wednesday, JPD conducted a confidential drug investigation in the Juneau area.

Fraud

• At 12:31 p.m. Wednesday, a 36-year-old woman reported to JPD possible use of fraudulent checks by a 59-year-old woman in the Juneau area.

Motor vehicle crash

•At 4:17 p.m. Wednesday, JPD responded to a crash involving a Subaru Legacy driven by a 64-year-old woman and a GMC Yukon driven by a 21-year-old woman. The crash was caused by a third vehicle that left the scene without exchanging information.

Theft

• At 10:55 a.m. Thursday a 61-year-old man in the 5900 block of Churchill Way reported to JPD a 28-year-old woman stole a briefcase and personal papers.

Trespassing

• At 8:39 a.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 8100 block of Glacier Highway to a report that a 35-year-old man was trespassing in a business in violation of a previously served criminal trespass letter.

• At 11:32 a.m. Thursday JPD created a case to document a trespass issue from September 2018 in the 2900 block of Glacierwood Court.

• At 12:34 p.m. Wednesday, a 37-year-old woman reported a to JPD a 37-year-old man trespassed at her business in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.
