Police calls for Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018

Domestic violence

• At 11:56 p.m. Monday, the Juneau Police Department arrested a 43-year-old man in the Juneau area for domestic violence assault. Alcohol was a factor. The man was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 7:40 a.m. Tuesday, JPD responded to the 8700 block of Trinity Drive to investigate the report of a 25-year-old man who reported his 1993 Subaru Impreza was hit by another vehicle. No injuries were reported. The amount of damage is unknown.

Sex crime

• At 6:48 p.m. Monday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of sexual assault in the Juneau area.

Suspicious activity

• At 9:30 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 3300 block of Riverside Drive to investigate the report of a 32-year-old man who was heavily intoxicated and creating a traffic hazard. Alcohol was a factor. The man was taken to LCCC for a 12-hour hold and his property was taken into safekeeping.

Theft

• At 8:04 p.m. Monday, JPD responded to the 1800 block of Northwood Drive to investigate the report of a 25-year-old man who reported someone siphoned gas from his car.

Trespassing

• At 3:45 p.m. Monday, JPD arrested Laverne Fawcett, 56, in the 300 block of Fourth Street for criminal trespassing. Alcohol was a factor. Fawcett was taken to LCCC.
