Police calls for Sunday, June 12, 2016

Burglary

• At 8:19 a.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of a burglary in the 9600 block of Douglas Highway resulting in approximately $1,400 of property loss.

Drug activity

• At 1:50 a.m. Friday, JPD contacted a group in possession of suspected methamphetamine and a firearm. Investigation continues.

Minor consuming

• At 10:38 p.m. Thursday, JPD cited Shelby Lynn Kennedy, 18, for minor consuming in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard. Alcohol was involved.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 1:21 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a two-vehicle collision in the 800 block of Twelfth Street, resulting in approximately $500 worth of damage, but no injuries.

Theft

• At 4:52 a.m. Friday, JPD received a report of a stolen vehicle in the 8800 block of Glacier Highway. The vehicle was found and later returned. Investigation continues.

• At 10:57 a.m. Friday, a 48-year-old woman reported the theft of a laptop from her residence in the 3000 block of Wood Duck Avenue. Investigation continues.

Vandalism

• At 10:38 p.m. Thursday, two women reported damaged to the tires of their vehicles in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard. Alcohol was involved.
