Conditions violation
• At 2:42 p.m. Thursday, Juneau Police Department arrested 30-year-old Melissa Butler on the 2000 block of Skater’s Cabin Road for violating the conditions of her release. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Driving under the influence
• At 5:27 a.m. Friday, JPD arrested 31-year-old Corwin Allen Vavalis for driving under the influence. Vavalis was also arrested for failing to appear for arraignment. He was taken to LCCC.
Theft
• At 1:23 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a call on the 200 block of Franklin Avenue where a 58-year-old man reported his bicycle was stolen.
• At 7:29 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to a call on the Douglas Highway where a 39-year-old woman reported that six construction signs had been stolen from a construction site.
• At 9:11 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to a call on the 3800 block of Kiowa Drive where a 58-year-old woman reported the theft of art supplies and tools worth an estimated $1,000-$1,500.
