Assault

• At 4:44 p.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department responded to the 2800 block of Postal Way to investigate the report of a 57-year-old woman who reported a 40-year-old man assaulted her. Alcohol was a factor.

Disturbance

• At 11:52 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested Benji A. Neice, 42, in the 200 block of Front Street for harassment (offensive contact with body fluid), JPD Public Safety Officer Erann Kalwara said. Neice spit on two people, hitting a 43-year-old man in the face and a 27-year-old woman in the face and body, Kalwara said.

Domestic violence

• At 2:39 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the report of a possible domestic violence assault in the Juneau area.

Drug misconduct

• At 11:05 p.m. Thursday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into the report of drug activity in the Juneau area.

Sex crime

• At 2:51 p.m. Thursday, JPD conducted a confidential investigation into a possible sex crime.

Theft

• At 5:07 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive to investigate the reported theft of jewelry worth an estimated $21.

• At 4:18 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 1400 block of Harbor Way to investigate the report of a 49-year-old man who reported the theft of tools.

Trespassing

• At 12:37 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to the 200 block of Franklin Street to investigate the report of a 45-year-old man who reported a 32-year-old woman was trespassing at a business.

Vandalism

• At 7:04 a.m. Friday, JPD responded to the 9000 block of Mendenhall Loop Road to investigate the report of vandalism.
