Police calls for Nov. 22, 2017

Domestic violence

• At 10:22 p.m. Saturday, the Juneau Police Department arrested a man, 29, for assault and criminal mischief, both of which were related to domestic violence, in the Juneau area. The man was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center and held without bail.

• At 12:42 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested a man, 33, in the Juneau area for assault domestic violence, criminal mischief domestic violence and disorderly conduct. The man was transported to LCCC and held without bail.

• At 7:57 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the report of a domestic assault in the Juneau area. Investigation continues.

Drunken driving

• At 4:17 a.m. Sunday, JPD cited and released Kristin Gross, 35, for driving while intoxicated and refusal to submit to a chemical test. The vehicle she was driving was impounded.

• At 11:48 a.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Roy Allen Rose, 73, for driving under the influence on Threadneedle Street. Rose was identified by a Report Every Dangerous Driver Immediately (REDDI) report. Rose’s blood-alcohol level was 0.209 percent. Rose’s vehicle was impounded and he was taken to LCCC and held on $500 bail.

Drunk on a licensed premise

• At 7:38 p.m. Saturday, JPD cited and released Brian Nichols, 48, in the 12300 block of Mendenhall Loop Road for being drunk on a licensed premise. Nichols was released to the care of a sober friend.

Shoplifting

• At 4:26 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the report of a theft from a business in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road. Investigation continues.

Theft

• At 12:24 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of a man, 50, in the Juneau area who said his credit card had been stolen and used fraudulently for an estimated $500.

• At 3:32 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of a woman, 82, in the 3000 block of Vintage Boulevard who said her wallet had been stolen and her credit card had been used fraudulently.

• At 7:20 p.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the report of a theft from a residence in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway. Investigation continues.

• At 11:27 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the report from a man, 57, in the 100 block of Dixon Street who reported the theft of an estimated $175 worth of gas taken from two vehicles.

Trespassing

• At 8:50 p.m. Saturday, JPD cited and released Kenneth Gregory Johnson, 31, for criminal trespass at a business in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 11:47 p.m. Sunday, JPD arrested Daniel LeBlanc-Tweedy, 20, in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive for criminal trespass at Bartlett Regional Hospital. LeBlanc-Tweedy was taken to LCCC.

• At 11:12 a.m. Monday, JPD responded to the report of a woman, 27, who reported trespass and vandalism to a camper in the 8400 block of Duran Street. Damage is estimated to be worth $300.

Vehicle rifling

• At 7:56 p.m. Saturday, JPD responded to the report of a man, 48, in the 2300 block of Mendenhall Loop Road who said his Samsung cellphone worth an estimated $240 had been stolen from his unlocked vehicle.

Vehicle theft

• At 7:52 a.m. Sunday, JPD responded to the report of a stolen vehicle in the 2600 block of Douglas Highway. Investigation continues.
