Police calls for Friday, May 27, 2016

Criminal Mischief

• At 8:36 p.m. Wednesday, the Juneau Police Department received a report of criminal mischief at Cope Park in the 1100 block of Calhoun Avenue.

Domestic violence

• At 12:56 p.m. Thursday, JPD arrested a 48-year-old woman for domestic violence assault in the Juneau area. She was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Drug activity

• At 2:13 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of drug activity in the 1600 block of Renninger Street. Investigation continues.

• At 2:56 p.m. Wednesday, JPD created a report for an ongoing investigation into drug activity in the Juneau area.

Motor vehicle crash

• At 5:58 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a two-vehicle collision on Glacier Highway near the Alaska Marine Ferry Terminal. Minor injuries were reported, and Capital City Fire/Rescue transported one driver to Bartlett Regional Hospital for non-life threatening injuries. JPD cited one driver involved for failing to yield.

Theft

• At 4:25 p.m. Wednesday, JPD received a report of a $900 theft from a business in the 2200 block of Jordan Avenue. Investigation continues.

• At 11:10 p.m. Wednesday, JPD recived a report of a stolen purse in the 300 block of Willoughby Avenue. Investigation continues.

• At 6:03 a.m. Thursday, a woman reported that she lost her credit card in the downtown area and that someone later used it. Investigation continues.

• At 10:10 a.m. Thursday, a 50-year-old man reported theft of cash and other items that occurred two weeks ago in the 300 block of Village Street.

Trespassing

• At 12:38 p.m. Wednesday, JPD arrested Mark Brown, 50, for criminal trespassing on Egan Drive and cited him for having an open container of alcohol. He was taken to LCCC and held in lieu of a $100 bail. Alcohol was involved.

• At 4:21 p.m. Wednesday, JPD cited and released Davinnia Tullos, 42, for criminal trespassing. Alcohol was involved.

Warrant served

• At 11:08 a.m. Thursday, JPD arrested Kenneth Johnson, 29, in the 3400 block of Tongass Boulevard on three warrants totaling $300 for disorderly conduct and two counts of larceny. He was taken to LCCC.
