Police and fire for Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016

Assault

• At 9:12 p.m. Friday, the Juneau Police Department investigated an assault in the 2500 block of Industrial Boulevard.

Domestic violence

• At 10:10 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a domestic violence call.

Drug activity

• At 1:48 p.m. Friday, confidential investigation into a report of drug activity in the 1600 block of Renninger Street.

• At 4:12 p.m. Friday, JPD responded to Fred Meyer to take custody of found drugs, which were later destroyed.

Drunken driving

• At 7:48 a.m. Saturday, Paul Lee, 24, was arrested for driving while under the influence in the 200 block of Gold Street. He blew a 0.154 percent breath alcohol content.

Fight

• At 12 a.m. Saturday, JPD responded to a fight in the 100 block of Franklin Street. Information only.

Fire and medical

• On Saturday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to 10 EMS calls, a person who walked into the Glacier Avenue station for a blood pressure check, an unauthorized burn on South Franklin Street, an unattended brush fire on Trafalgar Avenue, a call to Jennifer Drive that was cancelled en route and one medical transport call.

• On Sunday, CCFR responded to four EMS calls and twice to Vista Drive for a malfunctioning smoke detector.

Shoplifting

• At 4:03 p.m. Friday, Michael Land, 37, was cited and released for stealing $18 worth of merchandise from a business in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway.

Theft

• At 1:17 p.m. Friday, a 62-year-old man reported two Dungeness crab pots were stolen from his boat in the 8400 block of Decoy Boulevard sometime in the past month.

• At 1:37 p.m. Friday, Wade Brown, 25, was cited and released for larceny after stealing $32 worth of merchandise from a business in the 8700 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 4:25 p.m. Friday, JPD received a report of approximately $6,000 worth of tools stolen from a storage trailer in the Harbor Way area.

• At 4:54 p.m. Friday, a 29-year-old woman reported the theft of 100 gallons of heating fuel, valued at $269, from the 8300 block of River Place. No leads or suspects.

• At 7:50 a.m. Saturday, a 67-year-old man reported a pistol and ammo were stolen from his residence in the 6000 block of Gull Way. Investigation continues.

• At 9:53 a.m. Saturday, JPD received a report of a stolen phone in the 1800 block of Shell Simmons Drive. Information only.

Vandalism

• At 10:57 a.m. Saturday, a 60-year-old woman reported damage to a vehicle on Jerry Drive.

Warrant arrest

• At 7:41 p.m. Friday, Steven Lythgoe, 43, was arrested in the 100 block of Front Street on an outstanding $500 JPD warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of DWI.

• At 8:46 a.m. Saturday, Guadalupe Flores, 22, was arrested on Valley Boulevard on an outstanding $500 Juneau Alaska State Troopers warrant for failure to comply with conditions of probation, on the original charges of first- and fourth-degree assault. Additionally, Nathan Giske, 39, was arrested on an outstanding $250 JPD warrant for failure to appear in court on the original charge of larceny.
