Burglary
• At 2:47 p.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department investigated a theft of medications in the 4400 block of Julep Street.
Death
• At 10:44 a.m. Friday, JPD investigated an unattended death. Foul play is not suspected.
Fire and ambulance calls
• On Thursday, Capital City Fire/Rescue responded to five calls that required a patient to be taken to Bartlett Regional Hospital, two calls involving scheduled medical transports, one false fire alarm, two ambulance calls that didn’t require a hospital trip, and two calls canceled while vehicles were en route.
Hindering prosecution
• At 11:14 p.m. Thursday, William Coleman was arrested in the 11700 block of Glacier Highway for first-degree hindering prosecution. He was arrested and taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.
Impound
• At 12:04 a.m. Friday, a vehicle was impounded in the 8900 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.
Theft
• At 12:01 p.m. Thursday, a 65-year-old woman reported her iPhone 7 was stolen.
• At 6:28 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of a theft from a store on Marine Way. An investigation is ongoing.
• At 9:34 p.m. Thursday, a 33-year-old man reported someone stole prescription medication from his unlocked vehicle in the 500 block of Franklin Street.
Trespassing
• At 3:04 p.m. Thursday, Kimberlee Young was arrested for criminal trespass in the 9100 block of Cinema Drive. She was cited and released. Alcohol was involved.
• At 7:21 p.m. Thursday, JPD received a report of criminal trespassing in the 200 block of Franklin Street.
Vandalism
• At 5:54 p.m. Thursday, A man reported about $600 damage to his vehicle and that his car’s stereo system, worth about $250, stolen in the 5100 block of Glacier Highway.
• At 3:54 p.m. Thursday, JPD investigated a report of vandalism in the 8300 block of Mendenhall Loop Road.
