ANCHORAGE — Anchorage police are looking for a man who robbed a midtown liquor store early Sunday morning.
Witnesses at 12:36 a.m. called police reporting the Brown Jug liquor store on Fireweed Lane was being robbed by a man with a long gun.
The man ordered a clerk to give him money from the cash register and he left with cash.
A customer was in the store. Neither the customer nor the clerk was injured.
Police describe the suspect as a black man wearing dark clothing. A bandanna covered his face.
He left on foot. Police attempted to track him with a dog but were unsuccessful.
