Finalists announced for Auke Bay principal

The Juneau School District announced Tuesday their five finalists for an open principal position at Auke Bay Elementary School. The community is invited to meet the candidates at an open house on Tuesday, March 14 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Auke Bay Elementary School.

The candidates are:

Joanna Hinderberger, first-grade teacher at Gastineau Elementary School; Misty Ivan, Special Education Coordinator for the Juneau School District; Nancy Peel, Elementary Instructional Coach for the Juneau School District; Michele Ricci, Assistant Elementary Principal in Mukilteo, Washington; and, Dianne Zemanek, seventh and eighth grade teacher at Dzantik’i Heeni Middle School.

The five finalists will visit the school on March 14 and 15. Information and resumes can be found at juneauschools.org.
