In the story titled “Whale, what now?” which appeared in the Sunday Oct. 4 edition, a section title incorrectly identified the proposed location of the Ocean Interpretation Center as Aurora Harbor. As proposed, the OIC would actually go on filled-in land next to the Alaska Mental Health Trust, where the Avista dock currently stands. The Empire regrets the error.
