Got an opinion about what Marine Park should look like? The city wants to know.
The City and Borough of Juneau’s is currently conducting a short, 2-minute online survey open to all residents of Juneau which inquires about what the community would like to see happen or change in downtown’s Marine Park ahead of upcoming renovations.
According to a recent news release from the city, the park’s renovation is currently in the planning stages, and the survey asked for residents to answer questions about what to include in the park’s future, with suggested options like picnic tables, grills and area for ice skating among other ideas, along with multiple opportunities to share ideas in the survey.
The survey began Friday, Dec. 16 and runs through Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 5 p.m. The survey can be found on the city website, or at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/MarinePark
