Brian Naplachowski has been named the new General Manager of the Juneau Empire.
The announcement was made Monday by Deedie McKenzie, Group Publisher of Alaska Media Partners.
“Brian’s passion for the community and knowledge of the industry make him a great fit for the position,” McKenzie said. “Brian will be a great leader for moving the Empire’s vision forward.”
Naplachowski is currently the Circulation Director for the Empire, and has worked at the Empire for a total of five years. He will assume his new responsibilities immediately.
“I’m really thrilled about this opportunity, and excited about working with Deedie McKenzie, ” Naplachowski said. “I’m looking forward to deepening the Empire’s relationship with the community, and continuing to grow and adapt to ensure the Empire remains the most trusted news source in Juneau.”
