Alaska’s top legislators will gather at the Red Dog Saloon tonight to share beer and budget discussions.
From 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Alaska Common Ground will host an event intended to share casual discussion about the state budget. The posted list of participants includes Speaker of the House Bryce Edgmon, Senate President Pete Kelly, Rep. Paul Seaton, Sen. Kevin Meyer, Sen. Tom Begich, revenue commissioner Randy Hoffbeck, and the manager of the office of management and budget, Pat Pitney.
Alaska Common Ground is a nonprofit, nonpartisan group dedicated to helping Alaskans understand and reach consensus on the state’s top issues.
