Thank you for making League of Women Voters Wine Tasting and Silent Auction successful

On Oct. 5, 2018, the League of Women Voters of Juneau held its fourth annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction Fundraiser. We would like to thank the many individuals and businesses who made this event successful!

Thanks to the Hangar on the Wharf (Brie and Jed) for again providing the venue, delicious food and helpful staff.

Thank you, Keith Crocker, of Specialty Imports of Alaska, for providing the amazing wines!

Also thank you to the local businesses who donated toward our silent auction: Annie Kaill’s, Cycle Alaska, El Sombrero, Gold Town Nickelodeon, Gross Alaska Theatres, The Hangar on the Wharf, Juneau Lyric Opera, Juneau Mercantile and Armory, Magic Nails, McGivney’s, Nugget Alaskan Outfitter, Rainbow Foods, and Sandbar and Grill. We could not do the work we do without these wonderful local businesses!

Thank you also to league members and friends who donated auction items and/or time to the event: Judy Andree, Donna Knight-Staton, Ildiko McCabe, Marjorie Menzi, Marianne Mills, Judith Mitchell, Chris Niemi, Liz Smith, Margo Waring. Also, a big thank you to those who attended and bid on auction items!

We raised a total of $1,329.71 from the event, which will help fund the work of the Juneau league to register citizens to vote, inform the public on local issues, hold candidate forums and encourage citizens to actively participate in government.

Thank you again, Juneau, for all your support of the League of Women Voters of Juneau!

Kim Andree Jones,

Treasurer
