Sending submissions for Neighbors

Welcome to Neighbors.

The Neighbors page focuses on community-oriented news — nonprofit organizations, church and social service groups, club meetings, students awards, fundraising activities, and local events. You, the reader, provide the photos, artwork and information.

Neighbors is published in each Saturday’s paper and online as received. We ask any material containing time and date information be submitted by 5 p.m. Wednesday for Saturday’s paper and at least three weekdays in advance for online publication.

The Empire reserves the right to edit all submissions. Material is run according to space available.

For more information contact Mark Sabbatini, managing editor, at (907) 957-2306 or email editor@juneauempire.com.
