Santa on the Fire Truck in the Valley

While Santa will be visiting the boys and girls of downtown Juneau and Douglas on Dec. 11, he will parade through the Mendenhall Valley at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18.

The parade will begin at Gruening Park and will continue to Berners Avenue and Radcliffe Road, Glacier View Trailer Park, Stephen Richards Road., down Riverside to Long Run Drive, Portage Boulevard. and then to Aspen Avenue. From there Santa will visit Thunder Mountain Trailer Park via Thunder Mountain Road, and on to Montana Creek subdivision. Santa will continue his route on to Steelhead Drive, Silver Street. and ending at Wren Drive.

Fire Fighters and elves will be handing out candy canes on the route to all the kids.
