Samantha Rae Roguska and David Royal Blommer, both of Juneau, were married during a private beach ceremony attended by their parents on April 11, 2019, on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. A reception will follow in Juneau with family and friends.
The bride is the daughter of Bernard and Linda Roguska of Juneau. She graduated from Juneau-Douglas High School in 2007 and graduated from Southwestern College in San Diego, California, with a Dental Hygiene License and an Associate of Applied Science Degree in 2015. Roguska is currently employed as a Dental Hygienist at Mark S. Riederer, DDS.
The groom is the son of Dr. Robert and Judy Blommer of Ottumwa, Iowa. He graduated Ottumwa High School in 2005 and graduated from Bradley University in 2010 with a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management. Blommer is currently employed as a Project Engineer with Bicknell, Inc.
The couple plans to honeymoon in the French Polynesian Islands and will continue to make their home in Juneau.
