Register now for a space at Community Day on Campus

The Juneau Arts &Humanities Council will hold its annual Community Day on Campus: Carnival of the Arts from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 20 at the University of Alaska Southeast’s Mourant courtyard. Registration is now open to all artists, merchants, food venders and nonprofits who would like to reserve a spot on Campus for this tremendous community event highlighting the arts in Juneau.

Community Day on Campus is part of Juneau Jazz &Classics Festival featuring live music, arts and crafts, and fun for families. Juneau Jazz &Classics Festival presents a full day of free concerts while JAHC teams up with the Juneau School District Elementary Art Program and the Women of the Moose to exhibit the Elementary Student Art Show.

Now in its 14th year, Community Day on Campus enjoys close to 1,000 visitors during the day. Community artists, nonprofits, merchants, and food vendors set up booths to sell their wares, share information, take registrations for summer activities and help celebrate the creative vitality of our community.

Registration for a booth is free. Register online at www.jahc.org/box-office/ at the bottom of the page in the FREE events section, by contacting rachael@jahc.org or by calling 586-ARTS. This is a DIY event with groups bringing their own tables, chairs, or tents, and taking them away at the end of the day. Electricity is available.

In the event of rain, the event takes place in the Egan Library.
