Juneauites graduate from college across the US

Tevanah Charlemagne of Juneau graduated from Mary Baldwin University in Staunton, Virginia, during a ceremony on May 19. She was one of 420 members to graduate with the Class of 2019. She earned a bachelor of arts at the ceremony.

Two Juneau residents, Thane Reishus-Obrien and Selene Smith, graduated with honors from Montana State University this spring.

Abigail A. Taylor-Roth, of Juneau, was one of 462 seniors who graduated from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, on May 26, receiving a bachelor of arts degree. She majored in mathematics and women’s, gender, and sexuality studies, attended Juneau-Douglas High School and is the daughter of Joseph Roth and Brenda Taylor of Juneau.

Student makes Dean’s List

Emme MacDonald of Juneau has been named to the Dean’s List for the 2019 spring semester at the University of New England. Dean’s List students have attained a grade point average of 3.3 or better out of a possible 4.0 at the end of the semester.

UAS students make Dean’s and Chancellor’s List

The following are students from Juneau, Douglas and Auke Bay who made the Dean’s or Chancellor’s List for the Spring 2019 semester at the University of Alaska Southeast. Dean’s List students earned a GPA between 3.5 and 3.99 for the semester, while Chancellor’s List students earned a 4.0 GPA.
