The Shirly Jackson Community Library in Kake has scheduled two events later this month.
On Friday, Oct. 23, it will host the first of its Early Literacy Reading Groups for children up to 3 years old. This event begins at 2 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
On Saturday, Oct. 24, it will host its fall reopening event, which begins at noon. It’s also free and open to the public.
The Kake Library is located at 175 Library Drive. Library hours are as follows: Tuesday and Thursday: 3:30-5:30 p.m., and Saturday: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
