Juneau Pride Chorus Concert April 30

Juneau Pride Chorus’ annual performance and silent auction is set for April 30 at Northern Light United Church. The group is conducted by Leslie Wood, and it is a project of PFLAG Juneau, a 501(c)(3) charity. PFLAG is an acronym for “Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays.”

The silent auction begins at 6:30 p.m.; the concert begins at 7:30 p.m.

The Juneau Pride Chorus is The Pride Chorus is a member of the International GALA Choruses (Gay And Lesbian Association of Choruses) and the Sister Singers Network. A delegation of Pride Chorus singers will perform in Denver, at the GALA Festival July 2-6, 2016. This quadrennial Festival brings together more than 130 choruses and 6,000 singers for the world’s largest LGBT performing arts event.
