The Southeast Alaska Food Bank would like to thank the students from Lora Vess’s Social Justice class at the University of Alaska Southeast for touring the food bank and dropping off a very generous donation on Oct. 12.
We live in a very selfless and generous community, and this generosity is very apparent every time a group like this chooses to donate food or money to help our cause.
It’s only because of efforts like this, and the generosity of the people of Juneau, that we can continue to work towards our goal of providing healthy and nutritious food to those members of our community who may need help providing food for themselves and their families.
Thank you again, Ms. Vess and your Social Justice students. Together, we can end hunger.
