Discover Eaglecrest Day, a family fun day at Juneau’s only ski area, takes place Saturday, Sept. 16, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Mountain staff will treat visitors to food, games and rides on the Porcupine Chairlift. Season passes will also be available for purchase.

Fatmo’s BBQ will provide food, Coppa cafe will serve ice cream and treats and Alaska Zipline Adventures will be offering discounted tours throughout the day. Discover Eaglecrest Day is the first chance to get a beer or glass of wine in the new Alaska Zipline Beer and Wine garden outside the porcupine lodge.
