Roses are red, violets are blue, you can brighten someone’s day and donate to a good cause, too.
The annual Rotary Rose Sale is underway, offering delivery of the distinctive red flowers and raising money for Rotary service projects in the community and elsewhere. The price is $30 for a dozen roses, and they can be delivered anywhere in Juneau, Haines, Skagway, Sitka, Gustavus, Hoonah, Angoon, Pelican, Elfin Cove, Kake and Tenakee Springs, thanks to Alaska Seaplanes.
The roses will be delivered April 5. People are encouraged to order as soon as possible while supplies last, and online ordering ends March 30. The ordering page can be found at https://portal.clubrunner.ca/2462, and requests can also be sent to juneauroses@gmail.com.
