Our children’s future and your votes

Imagine, for a moment, that our young children and grandchildren, growing up in a petrostate but with minds not yet in its addictive grip, could foresee their future: the heated climate, rising and acidifying oceans and ecosystem havoc that our dependency on the production of fossil fuels is accelerating toward them.

Now imagine them, burdened by their foresight, gazing questioningly into our eyes.

Or, if that’s too hard, just imagine they could vote.
