I have a couple questions for those that want to remove the statue of William H. Seward. Would you really have preferred that Alaska stay under the Russian Tsarist government (still home to serfdom into the 20th century)? Besides arranging for the United States to purchase Alaska, what else did Seward do to warrant the removal of his statue?
